Backpack Ministry

We are seeking your help in putting together backpacks to help the homeless survive the winter ahead. These backpacks will give a man or a woman most of the things they need to survive and make their homeless condition more tolerable. Below is a list of the essentials they need in each packpack. Our first goal is to provide 300 backpacks before the winter season begins. You can help by donating money towards this cause through our support page or you can directly donate the items below, whatever you can afford or have available. Every little bit helps.

Your donations are appreciated and can be sent to Fig Tree Haven, 128 32nd Street, Newort News, VA 23188. Donations can be dropped off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8AM-4PM, Saturday from 8AM-2:30PM, and Sunday 8AM-4PM. Please specifiy that donations are for the backback ministry with Fig Tree Haven in care of Mary Rudisill.

Fig Tree Haven is the Non-Profit organization that is handling this project.
